Limonium purple

Limonium sinuatum, known also as sea lavender, is a flowering plant of the Plumbaginaceae family. It has hairy branched stems accompanied with numerous tiny flower clusters, which are usually of various shades of purple. The slender multi-branched stems and tiny delicate flowers give limonium a wavy dancing effect, which make it a perfect filler flower in both fresh and dry floral compositions, bringing in lightness and refreshness. Preserved limonium has the same characteristics of the fresh one, but with more color choices, making it a popular ornamental element for different floral decorating occasions.
