Spring flowers

Ranunculus
At the end of winter, ranunculus bloom begins, opening the door to the new spring. Such a curious name means “frog or little frog” because in nature the ranunculus often grows next to swamps and marshes, in the very water inhabited by these amphibians.

Peach blossom

Peony

Genista
Genista blooms profusely from April through the summer. The most widely grown variety in Italy is the yellow-flowered one, but there are many different species. In our store, for example, we also have pink, purple and red Italian genista. All possess the typical flexible, sinuous stems with lush flowering.
They are a powerful symbol of purity and prosperity, so much so that since ancient Rome they have been used in rituals to sweep away the old and welcome the new in May.
They give splendor and vitality to floral decorations, thanks to the absence of leaves on the stems and the delicate shape of the flowers, resembling many butterflies.
Rose
Roses are the typical flower of May, the month in which it begins to bloom. Rose bloom is usually quite long and continues through the summer, even reaching as late as September.
Each color has its own meaning, and for example, the red rose is associated with love, while the white rose with purity. Roses are the greatest classic ever and are perfect for a wide range of floral arrangements, from wedding decorations to Valentine’s Day bouquets and even summer bouquets.

Jasmine

Gypsophila
Among the most fascinating and versatile flowers of this period, gypsophila is the one we are most in demand for. Its bloom begins in July and lasts until September. It is a plant that expresses gracefulness, so much so that it is also called fog flower or bride’s veil.
In fact, it is often chosen precisely in weddings juxtaposed with roses, so as to restore movement and freshness to the composition.
Autumn flowers
After the summer heat that put a strain on plants and soils, the first chill of autumn arrives. Many plants prepare for winter hibernation, while others begin to bloom in this very season of slumber. Rice flower (diosmi)

Wax flower
Wax flowers bloom in late winter, bringing vibrancy to the last cold weather. These are very distinctive inflorescences that belong to the plant Hoya carnosa. Their texture is waxy, hence the name. The white or pink flowers are concentrated in several umbrella-shaped clusters and have a delightfully rounded star shape.
